District Student Activities

January 20 - February 3, 2018

The focus of this endeavor is reading for fun!  Students will record their reading time Jan. 20th - Feb. 3rd and collect pledges.  All students are encouraged to participate with or without pledges.  We are hoping for 100% participation this year - the funds raised will go to the new One School, One Book program!

In addition, we will also be holding a book drive to benefit Community Education Partnerships. CEP provides literacy support to homeless and highly mobile youth throughout the Bay Area through tutoring, extracurricular enrichment activities, and much-needed school supplies—including books. Please help support this worthy organization with a book donation during the CP Read-a-thon!  Any new or gently used books are welcome.  Donation bins will be in the main hallway across from the office.

New for 2018!  Donations can be made online here - please feel free to share the link!  Thank you, Jennifer Burke and Dawn Vineyard for your dedication to this awesome fundraiser!
