Why MEF and PTA?

Why does CP need both PTA and MEF?  Both PTA and MEF share a common goal – the betterment of our children’s education.

CP PTA invites parents and families to become involved at their school site.  PTA recruits volunteers and provides programs such as, assemblies, After School Enrichment Classes, Lawrence Hall of Science Math Night, Spelling Bee, CP Garden, classroom materials and school supplies, to name a few. Last year, parents and other family members gave more than 30,000 hours of service at Camino Pablo.

MEF’s goal is to raise the funds necessary to provide our children with the most competitive education possible.  This year at Camino Pablo, MEF donations are funding the following:  art teacher, computer instructor, kids connection (Counselor), librarian, Lucy Calkins reading & writing programs, music teachers, PE teachers, reading tutor programs, science aides, teacher aides, and technology.

PTA and MEF Working Together

CP PTA supports MEF as the primary fundraiser for our district.

With your donations, MEF will continue bridging the gap between what public education offers and what a competitive, 21st-century education should be.

CP PTA will continue to advocate for all students, build a stronger community at CP through programs and events, and recruit volunteers to make this year another successful year at Camino Pablo.

Every CP student greatly benefits from your support of MEF and the CP PTA.   Donate today by clicking here.
